At Dwarka Taxi, we always put the customer first. Whether it's a short local ride or a long outstation trip, we believe in complete transparency and flexibility in our services. Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans change. That’s why we’ve designed our Refund & Cancellation Policy to be simple, honest, and hassle-free.
This page explains how cancellations work, when you’re eligible for a refund, and how we ensure fairness for both our valued customers and our hardworking drivers.
1. Taxi Booking Cancellation Policy – Flexibility for Every Ride
We understand that sometimes, plans may change unexpectedly — a meeting gets postponed, a train is rescheduled, or the weather turns bad. That’s why our cancellation policy is designed to offer maximum flexibility with minimum stress.
Cancellation Time Frame:

Local Rides:
You can cancel your booking up to 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup without any cancellation charges. -
Outstation Rides:
You can cancel up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time without any penalty. -
Airport Transfers:
Cancellations are accepted up to 1 hour before pickup time without charges.
Last-Minute Cancellations:
If the cancellation is done after the allowed window, a nominal cancellation fee may be applicable depending on the ride type and distance.
Example: For an outstation ride worth ₹3500, a late cancellation might incur a ₹300 fee to compensate the driver for fuel/time loss.
No-Show Policy:
If the customer does not show up or is unresponsive for more than 15 minutes post pickup time, it will be considered a "No Show", and the booking will be marked as cancelled with no refund.
2. Refund Policy for Cancelled Taxi Bookings – Your Money is Safe
Dwarka Taxi maintains a transparent refund policy to make sure you’re never left confused or cheated. If you cancel within the allowed time frame, you are eligible for a full or partial refund based on the ride type and payment method.
Refund Eligibility:

Prepaid Bookings (Online Payment / UPI / Wallets):
Full refund if cancelled within the free window. -
Part-Payment Bookings:
Advance amount refunded after deducting applicable cancellation charges (if any). -
Cash on Pickup (COD):
No refund is needed as no payment was made in advance.
Refund Process:

Refunds are processed within 3–7 working days to the original payment method.

In case of UPI transactions, the refund reflects faster (within 1–2 days).

Note: We never hold your money unnecessarily. If a refund is due, it will be done with full honesty and professionalism.
3. How to Cancel a Dwarka Taxi Booking – Easy & Hassle-Free
Cancelling a ride with us is super simple. We don’t believe in making you go through long procedures or forms. You can cancel your ride through any of the following methods:

Just message your booking ID or ride details and mention “Cancel My Ride”. -
Website (if applicable):
If you've booked through our online platform, you can click on the “Cancel Ride” button on your booking page.
Pro Tip: Always try to cancel well in advance if you know you won’t be taking the ride — this helps us reassign the driver and avoid waste of time/resources.
4. Exceptions & Special Situations – When Things Go Unexpected
We at Dwarka Taxi are humans too, and we understand that sometimes things can go wrong. In rare or special situations, we may override our standard policy to accommodate your needs.
Weather or Natural Disasters:
If your ride is cancelled due to bad weather, flooding, bandh, or similar force majeure situations, we issue full refunds without any deduction.
Driver No-Show or Delay:
If the driver arrives too late or fails to reach the pickup point without reason:

You’ll receive a full refund (if pre-paid)

You’ll get priority service next time with a discount as a goodwill gesture
Medical or Emergency Cases:
If you are cancelling due to an emergency (e.g., hospitalisation, family emergency), we may offer full refund upon proof, even after the cancellation window.
5. Dwarka Taxi Booking Rescheduling – Change Your Plan, Not the Ride
Instead of cancelling, you can also reschedule your booking. This avoids charges and ensures your ride is not wasted.
Rescheduling Rules:

Free rescheduling allowed once per ride if informed in advance

Time/date can be changed up to 12 hours before ride for outstation, and 1 hour before ride for local trips
